StartMenuLSTRemover is a program that removes the Logoff and Shutdown text in your Start Menu. It also removes the word "Start" from your Start button, leaving only the Windows logo in it. The author claims that removing this text will allow some visual themes to look better. StartMenuLSTRemover does not include any configuration option. There's nothing you can do with this program, apart from installing or uninstalling it. In the program's menu entry, you will have two options: visit the developer's page (that's in English and German) or Uninstall the program. This utility simply erases the text in your Start Menu and Button. You will have to reboot to see the changes. To revert the changes to normal, all you have to do is uninstall this program and reboot again. The program can be installed in twenty seven different languages, and is able to remove the Start Menu and Button text in all of them. It works under Windows XP. To make it work under Windows Vista or Seven, you will have to assign it administrative rights, otherwise it won't work.
